Command Post 1005   1988 Bluebird Coach. This command post has computer links and screens tied into the main computer network of the Montreal Fire Department. It has 3? radio positions, a conference room, and other facilities. It has cellular phones, fax machines and a small library on board. It is based at station 5 located at 75 Ontario Street E. just east of Blvd. St. Laurent. (All of this description is from memory so please excuse any errors or omissions.) Platform 7019   1988 50 metres This vehicle is a Bronto Skylift (Snorkel Type), 165 feet reach built by Anderson Corp. of British Columbia. It responds to all 2nd alarm fires. The boom will reach 35 feet below the truck. This vehicle is no longer in service and has  been scrapped.

New Station 20 opened upon closure of the old station. New 20 is built into the Montreal Convention Center. Parts of the complex are built over the Ville Marie Expressway.  expansion. The facade of Old Staion 20 has been preserved and integrated into the facade of the complex.

Aerial 429  1994 Spartan Nova Quintech 30 metres This vehicle is identified as Ladder 424 because it was on loan to a television production company for use in the filming of the French language television series Caserne 24. This series revolves around the fictional fire station 24 and its members. The picture was taken during the summer of 1998. The series aired in the 1998/1999 season and was again in production between May 1999 and October 1999. The ladder and pumper used in the series were not the same in the second season.
